Haul out the black beret and shades: It’s time to poetry slam, Late Bloomers-style!
On June 22, 11 p.m., LB III invites poetry lovers to bring a poem to read during the first part of its slam night. Poems can be original, or selected from any genre, but should be 30 lines or less. Readers will be selected randomly to read, and LB members will decide which slammer wins.
The second part of the evening features a reading of Allen Ginsberg’s “America” by Late Bloomer producer Janis Hashe.
