On October 12, at 11 p.m., Late Bloomers 4 kicks off hard with Georgia rockers Antebellum, presented by the Shaking Ray Levi Society. Described as "a cross between Sonic Youth and funky folk", bandmembers Stratton Tingle, Jon-Michael Brown, Travis Ringstaff and Eric Lisica are already making waves with cuts such as "Everyone I Hate", "Winter," and "Apocalypsis."
Formed in early 2006, Antebellum notes that, “Despite menial sales and negative feedback from critics and the general public, their music has had a profound effect on themselves.”
The summer of ’07 witnessed Antebellum's first recording – a five song EP. Says the band, “Antebellum is big rock in a big way!!! Come ready to rock big because Antebellum is a big rockway and Antebellum will rock with big. So come big and be Antebellum in a rock and big way. Antebellum. Rock and roll.” Profound.
